Who needs managers? Aren’t good developers enough? Should Agile projects have project managers? Is the Coach a manager? And Product Owner? Allan will look at the different types of manager we find in software development teams and explores what they do, what they should do and why they don’t do it. He will attempt to resolve some of the confusion about managers and Agile teams, and explores what managers need to do to create truly effective Agile teams. This session is for practicing managers, developers who wonder what managers do and, especially, those who have recently become a manager and want to know what they should be doing.
