Organisational agility could be the difference between succeeding and failing in today’s business environment. Agility relies on everybody in an organisation knowing what they are trying to achieve, understanding why, being able to decide by themselves how to best do it and, most importantly, genuinely caring that it gets done. This is what I call ‘the agility challenge’. What does a company need to do to rise to that challenge? What structural and cultural barriers does it have to overcome on the way? And what interventions could help navigate this journey?
This presentation looks for answers to these questions. We also suggest how to encourage leadership at all levels in the organisation and facilitate the emergence of ‘everyday leaders’.
