Why do we do Agile?
Published October 17th, 2012 Under Agile, Scrum | Leave a Comment
Over the past few months I have been explaining Agile to a number of non technical people, including IT Management. This talk is the message I’ve developed to explain “Why we do Agile” to HR, Finance and IT Management. In addition I quickly explain “What is Scrum”, “What is the value if Lean” and “What is Kanban”. All in simple terms that require no prior knowledge of Agile or IT.
This talk is targeted at those that know nothing about Agile but want to, or those who want to know the answer to “Why do we do Agile?”. In addition, it will be of interest to anyone who has to explain “Agile” and “Lean” in simple terms. All the material is ripped off from someone else. Like all good plagarists, I’ll pretend it is my own works by ignoring the contributions of Kevin Tate, Kent Beck, Jeff Sutherland and Eli Goldratt. :-)
